MONEY Names Alliant the Best Credit Union of 2019

10/24/2019

For the second straight year, MONEY has named Alliant the best credit union in the country.

In addition to liking the Alliant High-Rate Checking Account, which has no monthly service fees or minimum balance requirements, and High-Rate Savings Account, MONEY highlighted Alliant’s large network of 80,000 surcharge-free ATMs, monthly ATM fee rebates and high-rated mobile banking app.

MONEY also recently recognized the Alliant Cashback Visa Signature card as its best cash back credit card of 2019. Earlier this year, NerdWallet named Alliant one of the best banks, best banks for savings, and best banks for checking in its 2019 “Best-Of” Awards, and NAFCU also named Alliant its 2019 Credit Union of the Year.

“Our top commitment is to helping our members manage and grow their money, through high deposit rates, low loan rates, fewer fees, rich credit card rewards, great service and simple digital banking tools,” said Alliant CEO Dave Mooney. “While receiving this kind of recognition is always welcome, the best testament to our success is when our members reach their financial goals.”

MONEY focused on credit unions that allow members to join from anywhere in the country, and used account data from MagnifyMoney.com to evaluate features like fees for checking and savings accounts, interest rates, ATM fees and mobile banking apps.
